President Shavkat Mirziyoev sent a letter to the President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid in connection with large-scale floods in several provinces of the country that led to numerous human casualties.
The head of our state in his message expressed deep condolences to the President and the friendly people of Bangladesh, as well as conveyed words of sincere sympathy to the families and friends of the victims.
Incessant torrential rains in Bangladesh caused landslides that have killed at least 140 people. Bad weather hit the South-Eastern part of the country on Monday morning, Rangamati and Bandarban suffered most of it.
